Certification Description
The Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional –International (CCEP-I) credential focuses on international compliance and ethics laws and is primarily for professionals who work outside of the United States or who have international affiliates. Individuals with this certification have the knowledge and expertise to assist international healthcare organizations with their legal and ethical responsibilities.
Healthcare professionals with this credential may have career advancement opportunities and higher pay that other professionals may not be eligible for.

The certification focuses on the following areas:
- Knowledge of compliance policies and controls, including regulatory requirements
- Monitor the organization for misconduct
- Ability to apply relevant laws and regulations to the needs of the organization
- Ability to maintain compliance and ethics policies and procedures
- Ability to track participation in compliance and ethics training programs
- Knowledge of how to prioritize compliance risks
- Ability to promote organizational values and ethics
- Broadcast compliance-based programs to employees
- Conduct compliance questions in exit interviews
Exam Objectives
Exam Details
- Issuing Organization: Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE)
- Prerequisites: Applicant must have at least 1 year in a full-time compliance position or 1,500 hours of direct compliance job duties earned in the 2 years preceding the application date; applicant must meet all other eligibility requirements as outlined in the exam handbook
- Questions: 115 (100 scored)
- Time: 120 minutes
- Cost: $275 for SCCE or HCCA members and $375 for non-members
- Re-certification and certification renewal: Every 2 years
